Resolved: VitalChek - ZERO stars! Lied about the price; lied about the time...
VitalCheck made things right. They actually called me a few times and fixed the error and worked with my birth state to expedite shipping--ALL AFTER I CANCELED MY ORDER!
Their representative was very nice and understanding of my frustration. I had my document within a week from them calling for more information. And they didn't charge me. Of course all this could have been avoided if they had communicated that there was a problem.
But VitalCheck made things right. Thank you!
ZERO stars! I ordered my document over a month ago; they took my $$$; they sent me an email stating that my document would arrive in 15 - 20 business days.
THE TRUTH...they took my $$$ immediately (advertised $30 but actually it cost $68.50--more than twice their advertised price) and never communicated to me after their initial email. EVERY SINGLE TIME I called I was on hold for over 15 minutes and only ONCE did I get through to an individual. Their automated system told me that my document had been verified and the issuing state would be mailing it out. When I finally talked to a HUMAN, they told me that my document was NOT ready to ship and that my issuing state would take up to 90 DAYS to mail it to me!
Look...
If the process is going to take 90 days, just SAY SO! If a document will cost almost $70, just SAY SO! Don't lie about the price and then take my $$$ with promises of getting my my document, then keep silent when you know it's going to take 3 TIMES the amount of time to arrive (or more).
Don't use this company. I do not trust this company.
Find another way.
I'm just going to drive to my issuing state and get my document in person. It will be faster and most likely a lot cheaper.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $69.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
VitalChek Cons: Lied about the price and the delivery time and no communication.
